Why I Became a Personal Injury Lawyer
“I chose this work because injured people deserve a fighter in their corner — someone who treats their case like it’s the only one in the office.”
I didn’t start in law. Before law school, I earned a 4.0 GPA in Electronics Engineering — a background that trained me to dissect complex systems, find failure points, and build airtight arguments from technical evidence. That same precision is what I bring to every personal injury case.
When I enrolled at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Law, I graduated on the Dean’s List with honors and earned multiple CALI Awards — given only to the top student in each course. I then had the rare opportunity to clerk for two federal and state court judges: the Honorable James C. Mahan of the United States District Court, and the Honorable Joanna Kishner Allf of the Eighth Judicial District Court. Watching judges decide cases from the inside changed how I think about advocacy forever.
I built this practice because I believe the legal system should serve real people — not just those who can afford the largest firms. When you’re dealing with an injury, medical bills, lost income, and an insurance company trying to minimize your claim, you need someone who knows the system from the inside and isn’t afraid to take a case to trial.
I also taught bankruptcy to low-income Nevadans at the Legal Aid Center, and I offer free consultations to everyone — because access to legal counsel shouldn’t depend on your bank account.
